Firstly, I’m not a professional athlete, not a medical professional either, nor am I affiliated with any brands or products. I’m merely a running and exercise enthusiast who has made so many mistakes, too many to count, and come across so many must have items and priceless methods along the way.

Whether you plan to walk a Parkrun, tackle a mountain trail, do the Comrades or hit the gym, I think this site might be of interest to you.

I’ve done a Parkrun, tackled many a trail and Ultra Trail, I’ve done the Comrades and I love visiting the local gym, not just for the smoothie.

Every single item on this site, I have personally used myself. This is my own personal experience and point of view. If you would like to engage with me on any product review, please feel free to do so.

I find that when I am looking for advice, there is just so much information out there, so where do you even start. My hope is that this site makes things a little easier and gives you information that will truly benefit you. The plan is to have it be more specific and focused to the general person.

I’ve gotten chafed, sunburnt, had an oversized backpack that felt awkward, ran in shoes that had me wincing in agony, bought a hydration belt that I ‘donated’ mid run to a bystander, had injuries that could easily have been prevented, thought I was superman… issues I think a lot of us can relate to.
